Health Office

If your student is not feeling well, they will be sent to the Health Office located in the main office. Our District Nurse, Gina Shield, is in the Health Office on Mondays only. Tuesday through Friday, students will be attended to by the Secretaries, who are also trained as Health Aides. Their annual training includes Epi-Pen, Glucagon, and medication administration, as well as ongoing CPR Certification.

 

Students will be logged in and assessed, instructed to call a parent, and/or treated and sent back to class unless being picked up to go home. 

 

Students will only be released to parents/others who are listed on their emergency cards, so please list as many local friends/family members as possible.
