Wednesday we are on "A" Schedule
RE: Family Life Meeting & Curriculum- 7th & 8th Grade
(comprehensive sexual health education and HIV prevention education)
A representative of the Living Well Medical Clinic of Grass Valley will provide the instruction. Seventh graders will receive this curriculum in their science class from May 22-25. Eighth graders will receive this curriculum in their science class from May 30-June 2. A parent meeting will be held on Monday, May 15, in room A6 at 6:30 to review the curriculum and meet the presenter. State law allows you to remove your student from comprehensive sexual health and/or HIV prevention education instruction. If you wish to exempt your student from this instruction, please submit a written request to the Magnolia office prior to the beginning of this unit of instruction.
Reminder: ALL students who ride the bus, if your bus has not arrived, you MUST wait in the quad.
Parents and Teachers for Magnolia (PTM)
Our next Parent Club meeting is this Thursday May 11th @ 6:30pm. Please consider sharing your time, talents with this very important service that benefits all students at Magnolia. We will be planning for 2017-2018 school year. See you there!!
Magnolia Father/Daughter Dance (K-8)
There is still time to buy tickets to the Father/Daughter dance this Friday May 12 from 7pm until 9pm at the Magnolia school main gym. The cost is $35.00 per Father/Daughter and and additional $10 for each additional daughter. Tickets may be purchased at the Magnolia, Cottage Hill, and Alta Sierra school offices using cash or check. Tickets may also be purchased online through Facebook or Eventbrite at the following links:
Lost: If you found a book titled "By your Side" Author Kasie West in the locker room, please turn it in to the office.
Eat out at the Auburn Chick-fil-A this Thursday, May 11th, from 5-8pm to help our Magnolia Odyssey of the Mind team go to the Worlds Competition! Just mention our name and a percentage of your purchase will be donated to our team. Thank you!

Sixth Grade Camp Picture:

If any students miss this deadline, they can still order from the gift shop at Alliance Redwoods Conference Center.
