Wednesday we are on "A" Schedule
Today Wednesday May 24th the Bear River freshman football coach will be here at lunch to handout paperwork. Please show up in room A-5 to get the info and packet if you are interested in playing football next year.
The Student Council Election for the 2017/2018 School Year has been rescheduled for Monday, June 5th. Please submit your applications for the positions of 8th Grade President, 8th Grade Vice President, 7th Grade President, 7th Grade Vice President, Public Relations Officer, Treasurer, and Secretary. Completed applications are due in the office by this Friday, May 26th.
*8th Grade Parents*
Contributions for the 8th grade graduation and dance are needed! Chair set up 8 AM 6/8, dance set up after in the main gym. Monetary donations are needed for food and decorations- please turn in by Friday May 26th. You may also donate a case of water and/or cookies, please drop off to the office June 6th.
Yearbooks are on sale this week at www.jostens.com. The price for a hardcover book is $35 and $22 for a softcover. Reserve yours now so it will be waiting for you at this year's distribution event.
This week is our last Harvest of the Month for this school year. The students will be tasting salad turnips in their science classes. This white vegetable is similar in taste to a radish. This year through our partnership with Sierra Harvest our students have had the opportunity to taste a variety of different vegetables most of which are grown locally. Hope you enjoy your turnips!
Attention Washington D.C./New York Travelers! There will be a parent meeting this Thursday, May 25th, at 7:00 in the big gym. This will be for parents only. Please try to attend.

All library books are DUE Wednesday, May 31st. The time is now to start checking for library books and textbooks at your home. The teachers will be notifying your students when textbooks are due. Students need to turn in their textbooks to Mrs. Sharon in order to match the barcodes to their textbook checkout slip that was signed at the beginning of the school year.
