Library Information & Policies

Library Visits

Library visits are available Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.

• Reserve one library period through the Magnolia Intermediate Library Portal.
• Only one class may reserve each period.
• Once a period is reserved, it is no longer available to other teachers.
• Use Request Library Materials when you would like books or a display prepared.

Please submit material requests at least one week in advance whenever possible.

Checkout & Circulation

Books not returned within 60 days are marked as lost, and a replacement charge is added to the student’s account. For payment and replacement-copy options, view the complete Overdue & Damaged Books policy.

Requesting Library Materials

Teachers may request library materials and classroom support through the Magnolia Intermediate Library Portal.

• Class novel sets for classroom use
• Customized bins of books for testing, independent reading, or special activities
• Genre or topic displays
• Research and curriculum-support materials
• Books and displays prepared for scheduled library visits
• Other library-related requests

Please submit requests at least one week in advance whenever possible. All requests are subject to availability.

Library Open Hours

• Tuesday: 8:45 a.m.–3:15 p.m.
• Wednesday: 8:45 a.m.–2:15 p.m.
• Thursday: 8:45 a.m.–3:15 p.m.
• The library is closed during the first 10 minutes of lunch each day.

Library staff hours are 8:30 a.m.–3:30 p.m.
