Congratulations to our Cross Country teams who competed on a rigorous 1.5mile course  last Thursday!
6th grade girls Gina, Kennedy, Natalia and Rylinn raced in excellent form led by Gina with 2 in top medal positions.
6th grade boys Kaden, Ryder, Brady, Bradley, Crew, Nathan, Tyler, Landon, Zachary and Emilio placed 2nd overall led by Kaden with 5 boys in top medal positions.
7th grade girls Maddie and Maya also had an excellent race led by Maya who was 2 overall.
7th Grade solo stellar athlete John Herrera took home a medal for 6th runner overall.
8th Grade girls Alexandra, Lexi, Chelsea, Julia, and Emma dominated the course and took first place overall with all girls in top medal positions!

Cold Mornings, Hot Drinks,Cool Stories! In the Library Wednesday Mornings November 8th, 15th & 28th8:45a.m – 9:45a.m. Bring your own Pumpkin Spice Lattes, Macchiatos, Hot Chocolate or Tea! Rules: 1.  Must be on time (8:45 a.m.) 2.  Must stay for the entire Read-a-loud  (until 9:02 a.m.) 3.  Must LISTEN! Shhhhhh! Tuesday, Thursday & Friday mornings 8 to 8:45, Wednesday after school 3:30-4:15 most weeks.  Please check the bulletin and Magnolia calendar.

   

Love and Logic classes: The six, weekly sessions begin on October 26th, 5:30-7:30, in the Magnolia Library.
 
Student Council will be sponsoring a Coins for Kindness drive for this week until Thanksgiving break. Bring in coins (or cash) to benefit those affected by the local fire crisis. Your first period teacher will be collecting the money. The class with the most total value of coins collected will receive a root beer float party courtesy of the Magnolia Student Council.
 
Help us create a memorable yearbook by submitting your photos of extracurricular activities. Our staff needs pictures of students with pets, students in clubs like scouts, lacrosse, or 4-H, and students taking instruction in dance, karate, or anything!

Class of 2018 pre - ordered t-shirts will be available for pick-up on Nov. 6. Please bring $8.00 into the Magnolia School Office before that date.  A second order of t-shirts will be printed if enough students are interested.  You may reserve a shirt for the next printing in the office.

Parents: Please be prepared to show a picture ID when checking your student out during the school day.
