Dear Magnolia Parents,
Fidget spinners  are not allowed at Magnolia School unless a student’s IEP or 504 Plan is specific about their use for increasing concentration for the student. These new toys are advertised as a tool to possibly increase concentration, yet we are finding that they are a distraction to the students who have them, as well as the other students in the classroom. Students may not bring Fidget Spinners to school, and if they do they will be confiscated. We appreciate your support on this issue and for parents with students with IEP’s or 504 Plans that address a lack of concentration, the school will provide multiple resources for your student. Thank you for your support.
