The goal is to make communication easy for our parents as they could be getting information from two schools and 5 teachers, all in one concise email.

Flashback Dance
The Flashback Dance is Friday night! PTM needs parent volunteers to help out at the dance. Please click on the link below to sign up if you're able to help out.

Track and Field is starting! 6th, 7th and 8th grade students are invited to join the team. Students who are interested need to turn in an athletic clearance packet prior to attending a practice. Athletic clearance packets are available in the front office.The season runs from March 27th thru May 26th. Practices will be held Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 3:30-5:00pm.

Students should not arrive earlier than 8:40 am, or remain on the campus later than 15 minutes after dismissal unless they are participating in a supervised activity.

Flashback Dance Rescheduled
The Flashback Dance has been rescheduled for Friday, March 31st! If you purchased a ticket for the original date, you're good to go! If you haven't purchased a ticket yet, the deadline is March 29th. You must have a signed permission slip in order to purchase a dance ticket. Grades and behavior points will be checked. PTM needs parent volunteers to help out at the dance. Rattler Reward Party
The next Rattler Reward Party will be this Thursday, March 30th. Don't forget to turn in your Rattler Pride tickets!

Girls volleyball is starting! An open gym will be held on Monday, March 6th in the big gym from 3:30pm-5:30pm. Tryouts will be on Tuesday, March 7th in the big gym from 3:30pm-5:30pm. 7th and 8th grade girls who are interested, need to turn in an athletic clearance packet before attending open gym or tryouts. 6th Grade Fun Night
A big THANK YOU to all 6th grade parents and family members who donated their time/funds/donations for the Sweet Bingo Fun night. Another thank you to all the students for coming and playing B I N G O!!! With all of you we had the "fun" in the Fun Night!
 
Bear River Drama Tryouts
All incoming 9th graders who are interested in being a part of Bear River's award-winning drama program are invited to audition for the Honor's Professional Acting course, which is the cast of our shows, on Tuesday, February 28th at 4 pm in the theater. No preparation is necessary. For more information, contact Sara Noah at [email protected].

Permission slips are available today, February 10th, in the office and tickets will go on sale starting Monday, February 13th, for $5. Students can purchase tickets at lunch in the quad. Ticket sales will end on Wednesday, February 22nd. NO tickets will be sold after this date, NO EXCEPTIONS. This is so our staff has adequate time to complete all the grade/behavior point checks and final dance preparations can be completed before the event. The requirements to be admitted into the dance are as follows: Students must have no fewer than 95 behavior points and at least a 2.0 GPA with no F's. Grades and points will be checked after ticket sales have ended. There will be no exceptions to these rules.
 
Leadership is looking to borrow a few items and is also in need of chaperones and volunteers!

School will be closed on Friday, February 17th - Monday, February 20th in observance of Presidents' Day. School will resume on Tuesday, February 20th.

Future Bruin Day is this Friday from 9:30-12:30. 8th grade students will walk to Bear River High School, attend a rally, meet the Bear River staff, tour the campus, learn about class options and discover club and sports opportunities.
 
8th Grade SAEL Presentation
Any 8th grade students who are interested in learning more about SAEL High School can attend a presentation today, in A5/A6, from 12:00-12:45 (4th period). It will be the responsibility of the students to make up any work that is missed during the period.

PTM Meeting
The monthly PTM meeting will be held tomorrow, Wednesday, Feb 1st at 4:00pm in Room A/5A6.
PTM is happy to announce that the Bid N' Barrel fundraiser surpassed the goal set. They will be meeting to finalize the PTM budget and discussing any future events for this year. PTM is looking for community members to come out and get involved. If they don't get enough volunteers they will not be able to host a spring event.
