At Magnolia Intermediate School
we enjoy a very dynamic parent group. As part of the district-wide Parents' Club, the Parents and Teachers for Magnolia (PTM) act as the site-level organization working to enhance the educational experience for all Magnolia students and their families.
Thanks to our past fundraising effort we have raised monies that have allowed us to fund/support some amazing projects including A Shade structure in the quad and new tables for the lunch area, Science lab, Computers for the computer lab, an acoustic shell to enhance the sound quality of our music and theater performance, document cameras and projectors in all classrooms and a cross-country course upgrade just to name a few. PTM also provides funding and support for a variety of materials, programs/activities, such as teacher appreciation and field trips. These also provide great opportunities for you to become involved in your child's school.
Please mark your calendars for PTM Meetings which are generally held on the 1st Wednesday of each month at 4:00 pm in the Student Services Building Room 1 of Magnolia. The meetings are open to everyone and provide a wonderful opportunity to be involved in your child’s education here at Magnolia. You can also stay connected by liking our Facebook page. We need you to get involved in working with us to support the students & families of Magnolia.
All parents/guardians are members of the Parents Club and are encouraged to attend the monthly meetings to stay informed of the current events taking place at Magnolia. In addition to planning fundraisers/assemblies, and reporting the club's financial status and upcoming events, an informational Principal's report is given each month as well.
Meetings are held on the 1st Wednesday of each month at 4pm in the Student Services Building Room 1 of Magnolia.
