Dear PRUSD families and community,
Unfortunately, we will have to close our campuses due to the increased Covid cases and not having enough subs to cover our classes. Since coming back from the winter break the school district continues to experience increases in the Covid 19 cases on our campuses. This is the greatest number of positive cases within our schools since the beginning of the pandemic. Schools will be closed Tuesday through Thursday of this week. Schools will resume this Friday. This means all school activities will be postponed as well. These days will be made up during the calendared emergency days, this spring.
It is our goal to offer testing during Wednesday and Thursday to all students. A testing schedule will be sent out Tuesday during the day so you can schedule time for your child to be tested if you choose to.
If you have a degree and have a desire to sub within PRUSD, you may call the district office to inquire how to become a sub for our district. This will help in keeping our schools open when we see increases like we are experiencing.
