Nevada County Office of Emergency Services has informed us that a winter storm will be arriving at approximately 10 AM this morning and continue through 10 PM tomorrow night. We may see wind gusts up to 60MPH in the evening tonight and extend through early Thursday morning. There is a chance our community could lose power with this storm. Please plan accordingly.
If the power does go off during the school day, we may be calling school early. You will be notified via phone call and social media if this does occur. One way we communicate is through Edlio News. The app is free and the link is https://edlio.com/apps/pages/SchoolNewsApp. You can download the APP through Apple APP Store or Google Play. The APP is called School News by Edlio. Once the APP is downloaded, please select your child's school and PRUSD. You will receive all postings via your cell phone.
