Biography

Katherine Adams grew up in western Washington until she joined the Air Force in 2003. For 11 years she traveled the world as a maintainer and weapons loader on fighter jets. In 2014 she transitioned to the Air Force Reserves and worked as an Emergency Manager for 10 more years. She attended California State University and earned her Bachelors in Natural Sciences with a minor in Environmental Science and her Single Subject Teaching credential for Science. In 2020 she was transferred to Tinker AFB, OK where she taught 7th Grade Science and attended Oklahoma State University earning her Masters in Educational Technology. Mrs. Adams returned to Penn Valley California in 2022 and was hired at Magnolia as the 6th Grade Science teacher. As of the 2026-2027 school year she is the 7th Grade Science Teacher instructing students in geology, chemistry and ecosystems.
