Jake Retz

Hi all! I'm super excited to be teaching 6th grade science!

 

Together we will learn not just science, we will also learn how to think like scientists and hone our critical thinking skills.

 

I grew up in the Modesto area, spent four years in the Navy onboard the USS Enterprise, went to college, spent a couple more years in the California National Guard, lived in Santa Cruz for some time, and now am happy and proud to call Grass Valley my home. My wife and two kids are lucky to live in such an amazing place, and I'm lucky to teach my favorite subject to such awesome students!
