Bear River Enrollment Information
8th Grade Families,
Here is the Course Catalog for Bear River for next school year. The Course Catalog provides descriptions, and prerequisites for all courses offered at Bear River. Please use this catalog to learn more about the courses that your student may be signing up for.
If you have lost/not received the Freshman Course Selection Sheet for next year, please print out the following link and complete the form.
As a reminder the Bear River School Counselors will be at Magnolia on Thursday 1/25 and Friday 1/26 to meet with all 8th grade students about their Course Selections.
We also have a handout that is updated to pre-enroll the incoming 9th graders online. Please make sure that you are enrolling your student for Bear River next year as soon as possible to ensure that they can get their course requests.
6th Grade Science Camp Fundraiser
Do you like pizza? Do you want a night off from cooking? Do you want to help 6th grade science camp raise money? If you said yes, mark your calendar for January 31st. Trailblazers in Alta Sierra will generously donate 15% of all purchases to science camp. Just mention "Magnolia fundraiser" or present a flyer.
Used Sneaker Drive
Clean out your closets for a good cause. Bear River High School Lacrosse Booster Club is running a "Used Sneaker Drive" from 1/22-2/2/24. Simply gather up any unwanted used athletic shoes (running/walking, basketball, tennis, volleyball, casual tennies, golf, cleats) and drop them off in the front office of the school during school hours (8am-4pm). You are invited to come out and watch the newest CIF sport in the area this spring Wednesday and Friday nights at 7pm in the BRHS stadium!
Talent Show
Did you know Magnolia has talent? Why yes we do! The Magnolia Talent Show will be on February 9th!
Homework Club
Homework Club with Ms. Simonds has been moved to Thursdays, after school.
