Extra Credit Science 7
Students may complete three extra credit assignments throughout the trimester. Extra credit assignments may not be used to replace a major assignment or project, and extra credit points will not exceed 3% of the overall points for the trimester.
Extra Credit: “Science in the News” – Each article is worth 5 points up to 3% of total final grade. Using local papers- The Union, Sacramento Bee, or Auburn Journal, or an online scientific article.
- Summarize the article. (3-4 sentences)
- Answer the following questions: “What did I find interesting?” and “This article makes me wonder about…”
- Label assignment with proper MLA heading, date of article, title of article and name of newspaper or source of online article.
NO extra credit points given if the student has any ZEROS.
All outstanding work has to have been completed.
